This year I was involved with lighting and sound in the school production. Mr. Waddington was in charge of all the technicians. The production “Buddy Hollywood” was put on for about three weeks in term 2. The production was put on in the hall and I was responsible for setting lights. Lighting was an important part in the production to make it look cool and exciting.
In this production you have about two weeks out of classes for rehearsals. The whole production all up is about three weeks long. It is a fun but hard working event but it makes you learn to work with in time you re given and to work with others. Lighting involves a lot of skill, training and thinking ahead. You are involved with about 10 different events a year.
Another event is Mardi Gras it is a fantasy event it is just like your school disco, but there are a couple of blow up games. Your job is just to just go freestyle with the lights you have to operate and just have fun.
